Laura Wilson

Laura Wilson is a former editor of non-fiction. Many of her novels have an historical setting or connection. Her first novel A Little Death was shortlisted for the CWA Ellis Peters Dagger Award and the Anthony Award for Best paperback Original (US).  Her fourth book The Lover was the  Winner of the Prix Polar Europeen (France). It was also shortlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger Award and the CWA Ellis Peters Dagger Award. Her sixth novel A Thousand Lies was shortlisted for the Duncan Lawrie Dagger Award. Her seventh novel Stratton's War which was the start of a series featuring policeman Ted Stratton and set during World War II won the Ellis Peters Dagger Award in 2008. Laura Wilson is also a member of the collective "The Unusual Suspects" which is made up of a diverse group of award-winning crime novelists.
